  • 500 gr chickpeas cooked
  • 5 tsp agave syrup
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg

  • 500 gr chickpeas cooked
  • 5 tsp agave syrup
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
Roasted Crunchy Cinnamon Chickpea Granola
Instructions
  1. Rinse and drain the chickpeas.
  2. Place chickpeas on a tea towel and pat dry; making sure the chickpeas are thoroughly dry. (I usually wait about 30 minutes).
  3. Meanwhile preheat oven to 200 ˚C/400 ˚F, and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  4. Spread chickpeas evenly on the baking tray. Roast for 30-40 minutes.
  5. Remove the baking tray from the oven and drizzle the chickpeas with agave syrup. Stir to coat evenly.
  6. Add the cinnamon and nutmeg. Again, stir to coat evenly.
  7. Bake for 10 more minutes at 200 ˚C
  8. Remove from the oven. Let the chickpeas cool completely before storing in an airtight container
  9. Enjoy!
